A world traveler, both in life and flavours. My cuisine is french inspired and locally made.
I am a 24 year old German and South African Chef currently in New Zealand to explore its beautiful islands and meet its wonderful people. I learned to cook at Gastronomicom, a prestigious international culinary school in the South of France, where I was trained by Michelin starred chefs.
I am extremely passionate about food and started working in kitchens before I was formally trained. I did my training in the South of France and focused on French gastronomy. Whilst learning to speak French I was only offered jobs as Commis because of the language barrier. My CV is a peculiar as a result of this but please do not be discouraged. Just before leaving Europe I started doing private cheffing for very high class international clients (as there was no language barrier).
I work extremely hard without hesitation because I love what I do. I am a perfectionist at heart and always strive for every dish I send out to be consistent and perfect for the client. I love to learn and create by exploring unusual ingredients and new flavour combinations.
