I discovered the love of cooking at the late age of eighteen when I moved from home to university. I realised that food could be so much more than what I had been growing up with (sorry mum!). The endless possibilities, discovering cultures and the joy it can bring to people has enthralled me and kept me cooking to this day.
I started as a burger cook but since travelling I have worked at Whistler ski resort, a european tapas bar, a neopolitan pizza joints and a vegan thai kitchen to name a few. Since moving to Wanaka I have worked in the coveted pop up restaurant; Chefs Kitchen at Rippon Winery and now in Balance Me. Balance Me is a small plant based catering company specialsing in delivering prepared meals, providing wholesale foods, catering and private cheffing experiences.
I specialize in creating soul-warming comfort food that caters to all dietary needs.
