Chef Cristian Pincheira

I have cheffing experience in a variety of countries, cooking many different national cuisines, namely Chilean, Spanish, Japanese, Italian, American Smoked BBQ and more recently designing a Spanish Kiwi fusion. I have been in New Zealand since 2007 and have made it my home, becoming a resident in 2012. I enjoy cooking with flair and more recently have been focusing on produce with sustainability, bringing the earth to the plate in a way that serves both client and planet. I enjoy the challenge of putting twists on classic dishes whilst still respecting the origin of traditional cuisine. Passionate about all styles of cooking, I certainly favour Japanese because of the complexity of colours and flavours, and of course Italian which I have mastered during my time under Executive Chef Sergio Maglione. I believe in bringing a fresh touch to the kitchen, while still keeping extremely high standards that keep customers coming back again and again.
