My name is Mingmontra van der Klooster, but most people know me as Jujie. I am a chef with a deep passion for authentic Thai cuisine, rooted in the rich culinary traditions I learned from my mother, grandmother, and aunt while growing up in Chanthaburi, Thailand. These early experiences shaped my love for bold, fresh flavors and time-honored techniques, which continue to inspire my cooking today.
Before following my path as a chef, I earned a degree in Architecture. This background taught me to visualize, plan, and bring creative ideas to life—skills that now guide me in the kitchen. Cooking, like architecture, is an art form, and every dish I create starts as a vision in my mind before becoming reality on the plate.
I founded JUJIE COOK's THAI to introduce the world to authentic Thai cuisine made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. From catering large corporate events to preparing Thai meal boxes for busy families, I prioritize quality, nutrition, and sustainability. I personally source the freshest ingredients, focusing on a zero-waste philosophy. Every dish is crafted with care, ensuring that each bite tells a story of flavor, culture, and love for good food.
With experience as a chef in Thai and European cuisines, I bring versatility and creativity to every menu. From finger foods and "hapjes" for business events to multi-course buffets, I adapt flavors and spice levels to suit every guest's taste.
