I am a professional chef with 11+ years of experience. My love for food is as diverse as my cultural background. Having been born in the Philippines, growing up in the Bahamas and attaining my culinary training in the United States, my cooking, such as myself, is a cultural melting pot (not to be taken in the literal sense).
One of my favorite "therapy sessions" is filleting a beautiful piece of salmon or any other type of fish for that matter. I have a vast knowledge in Japanese cuisine, fusing it with Mexican flavors and adding a bit of Filipino flare. When I'm feeling homesick, I'm reminisced of the unapologetically bold flavors of the Caribbean and create mouth-watering comfort foods that's bound to have an explosion of flavors.
