I am a professional chef with 12 years supporting my carrer, in the culinary world.

I studied in Mexico City at Superior de Gastronomía.I joined to Mexico Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2015 kitchen president's area, on the same year I was invited to (wine and food convention),where I had the privilege to work with international celebrity chefs.2017 Chef Federico Lopez, one of the best chefs in Mexico. Invited me to colaborate in the great PGA OHL classic at Mayakoba,Rivera Maya.

Starting 2018, in Los Cabos.I decide to start my new project as a prived chef, this gave me the oportunity to work with celebrities and very important people.

All these experience and knowledge gave me the oportunity to open my own folklore mexican restaurant in 2019.

During these 2 years,I have been working as a prived chef and Carterer.

We were so impressed with how engaging Benjamin was. Not only did he create a magical culinary experience for us, but he also shared beautiful stories of his youth and cooking tips. I was happy my husband had an opportunity to chat it up with Benjamin as he is constantly surrounded by women. Chef Benjamin prepared the best meal that I had in Cabo....and I had some amazing meals... we will definitely try to secure a chance to be wowed again by Chef Benjamin!

Chef Benjamin was amazing, he was very easy to communicate with and personalized the menu to our requests. The dishes where amazing with great taste and presentation, and he even go the extra mile with the decoration of the dining area. I would totally recommend him.

Our experience with Chef Benjamin was stellar and an absolute delight. He customized our menu to exactly what we were hoping for. He was very communicative and easy to work with, and very personable when he was cooking for us in our rental property. Each dish was delicious and composed with incredible attention to detail — truly a 5-star experience. He is very connected to the culinary community in San Jose del Cabo and had great recommendations for the rest of our trip. His assistant created excellent cocktails for our group and at the end of the evening they cleaned every dish and left our place spotless. You couldn't ask for a better personal chef experience!

Having a chef prepare an excellent meal for my friends and I was a bucket list item for me. Chef Benjamin far exceeded our expectations. The presentation of each dish was beautiful and the flavor was a treat for the tastebuds. The wine pairings were perfect. We had a guest that didn’t drink alcohol and he made her a yummy mock tail. Don’t miss this amazing experience.

Chef Luis was on time, well prepared and got right down to business. He was booked as a birthday surprise and he did his part to make her feel special. I will say that we were kinda quiet and talking amongst ourselves so we didn’t quite do the interactive thing and help.. but we definitely watched and he was amazing. Every dish was beautiful and delicious. My favorite was the Tuna Tartare. So many flavors that blended together very well. He even ended the night by bringing out a cake that was lit up with a sparkler!! He cleaned the kitchen and grill areas spotless and left very quietly. My only gripe (and this is more with myself) is that we should have booked for 3 people instead of 3 so we would have had some wonderful leftovers to wake up to.. Next time we will.. I give his service and the overall experience from booking to communication to the actual event a 10/10!!! Would definitely recommend and will book again.

It was truly a pleasure having Chef Benjamin cook for us. It was a great experience from beginning to end. To begin, his menu selection was perfect. Communication was timely, Every course in the meal was well presented; the plating was superb. He described how every dish was prepared. Great conversation before, during, & after the meal! Very highly recommended if you’re looking for a private chef in Cabo.
