My name in Sinhalese means Summer but everyone calls me Gimi!
I moved to Barcelona, Spain over 5 years ago where I found my passion for cooking and feeding people to make happy bellies and happy souls.
Inspired my Grandmas recipes and teachings I started hosting private dinners during COVID lockdown. What started as intimate dinners for 4-6 people eventually grew up to a full blown Supper Club where I hosted bi weekly dinners and Sunday brunches for 20-30 guests. Over the course of the last 6 years I was lucky enough to work in some amazing restaurants in Barcelona and the south of Spain that’s allowed me to expand my knowledge and help me grow as a Chef. Now I have moved back to sunny Sri Lanka for a while to give back some of what I have learnt and share my experience and skills with my home country.
