Chef Stef Ziesler

Having worked in hospitality and management for over ten years doing a variety of different jobs; from deckhand to captain on yachts; house manager/personal assistant on a private estate; to a chef on yachts, in a chalet and a villa; I have now established myself as a private chef, based in The Lakes, but am happy to travel to wherever my clients need me.

I am a very organised and outgoing person and working in confined spaces on yachts has taught me to be patient and that a smile is a real virtue. I seek a position of mutual respect; a nurturing environment where both the family and their employees can thrive and get the job done in harmony. Over the years, and with extensive experience of working with UHNW clients, I have fine-tuned anticipating what my employers need or want, before they realise they do.

I have a passion for cooking with a preference for utilising fresh and in-season produce, locally sourced or ideally home-grown, in order to be as sustainable as possible. Having seen the incredible amount of food wastage during my career, I am keen to upcycle any meals or to outsource any unwanted food to those in need. Having worked for many different nationalities, and clients with varied tastes, I am very versatile when it comes to cooking international cuisines.
