Before leaping into the world of food, I have worked for construction companies in Europe and the Middle East. I also worked on week ends at Oddbins in London where I learned about wines from the “new world”...
My education is varied. I started with engineering in the US, at the George Washington University in DC and moved to architecture with a degree from the Catholic University of America. While in school, I worked at the American Café in Georgetown. Five years in this structured environment, where teamwork, precision and uncompromising standards were essential, proved a valuable lesson in both culinary skills and management techniques.
After working with an international mix of people, I has moved to Italy where the different tastes and styles of cooking would not only provide a new challenge but also further broaden my culinary knowledge. In Ostuni I founded the “Puglia Chef Academy” , the “Olive Wood Cafe” , and the "Ostuni Catering Services".
