I'm Alessandra, I'm from Umbria and I'm a wandering chef.

My history in the kitchen started when I was 6 years old and I prepared alone my first handmade gnocchi. I learn to cook with my mother and in real kitchens of old aunts and grandmothers.

After many years first in design and then in tourism world of work, I decided to dedicate myself to what I really love to do: cooking. For two years I have been working full-time and professionally as a private chef and little catering.

My cooking is strongly linked with my region and nature. My proposal is full of genuine taste and natural flavour. The aesthetic of my plates is natural and minimal, and not conventional. Edible flowers is my personal touch to many plates, where you always find natural surprising elements. Every plate is prepared with fresh and seasonal organic products from local farms. Even though I cook meat, I specialize in vegetarian and vegan cuisine. Bread is my specialty: I'm an artistic baker, my breads are famous because I can draw with a blade the surface of bread to create female faces. I love preparing artisan bread for my clients, handmade pasta, pastry and other baking products.

I have my fix proposals but I love designing personalized menu and plates based on your desires. I can also organize little catering until 40 people, with a tailor made service and menu, to surprise you and your guest.

Chef Alessandra was amazing. We hired her for an intimate wedding celebration and she served us a four dish menu and a cake. Her plates were all fantastic and she was super kind and sweet. We know it was the best decision to hire her for this important day. I would recommend her a thousand times.

Truly delightful experience. Alessandra brought her regional culinary skills to create a delicious, customized experience that will be the highlight of our Tuscan visit. The variety of flavors was fantastic. The food was very fresh with most ingredients from her garden. We started with a delicious goat cheese app with her plum & apple jam, panzanella salad, chicken dish, the meal was topped off with a wonderful, hazelnut panna cotta. She is sweet, on-time, warm, and professional. We would highly recommend Alessandra - you will love it!!

Allesandra was the perfect balance of professional and personable. She was flexible with the timing and incredibly accommodating. She also came to us in a very remote area and we were so happy she could find us. She included local ingredients, even the lavender from our garden, and prepared us a beautiful balanced meal. You could feel the pride in her ingredients and where she sources from the locals. She left everything pristine and allowed us the opportunity to enjoy the evening. We hope to see Alessandra in the future and to enjoy one of her fabulous 4 course meals.

Alessandra was amazing! The food quality amazing in every dish. The table side service was fantastic. Her wine choices with each course were perfect! This home cooked meal was likely the highlight of our trip! Would recommend Alessandra to anyone and we would likely book her again on a future trip. A very memorable experience!
