Maayan Yardeni – Ayuni

Hello All,

My name is Maayan.

I was born and raised in Clil and for the past 30 years, food delicacy have been a huge part of my life.

My parents owned a dairy farm that offered unique dairy products, such as our famous goat cheese and later on, opened a restaurant “Smadar beKlil” which served our community for over 16 years.

My upbringing was most definitely a unique circumstance, a physical and spiritual nourishment that came from my family’s hospitality and food.

This mentality is engraved in my work and allow me to hold myself to standards of the highest quality and something that just cannot be store bought…

I have a passion for working only with the finest products, freshness and love experiencing new flavors.

I have been known for my endless curiosity and use of local ingredients, learning through many years of travels. After living in Australia, Europe, Central and South America, I have returned home to the local market with inspiration and creativity.

Bottom line, I am an artist who loves to create art through food.
