With over 30 years of culinary experience, Chef Giuliano Dacasto brings passion, precision, and innovation to every dish he creates. Originally from Italy, he has mastered Mediterranean and Western cuisines, with a particular focus on Roman Italian. His time in London allowed him to acquire French cooking techniques and delve into traditional European recipes.

In 2008, Chef Giuliano moved to Asia, exploring diverse cuisines in Singapore and Shanghai before settling in Hong Kong. As the culinary mastermind behind the runaway success of the "Ask for Alonzo" restaurant brand, with five outlets, and its sister concept "Porkcentric", Chef Giuliano has proven his exceptional ability to develop and lead thriving dining establishments in one of the world’s most competitive markets.Chef Giuliano Dacasto's culinary journey began in Italy, where he developed a deep passion for the art of cooking. Eager to expand his skills, he ventured to London, immersing himself in French techniques and European recipes.

Giuliano's path led him to Asia, where he served as Executive Chef at Il Lido Pte Ltd and Forlino Pte Ltd in Singapore. His innovative approach to Italian cuisine delighted diners and showcased his exceptional kitchen management abilities.

As Director of Operations at GD & DL Ltd Pte Zaffiro Restaurant / L'Angolo Ristorante Italiano, Giuliano designed efficient kitchen layouts and workflows, ensuring the highest standards for every dish.

In Hong Kong, he became Head Chef de Cuisine at Aqua Restaurant Management Group, leading the team to deliver exceptional experiences. Later, as Consultant Chef at St. Bettys Limited, he restructured operations and developed compelling new concepts.

Giuliano's journey continued in Shanghai as Executive Chef at 1921 Gucci, where he aligned the high-end restaurant's menus with its upscale image. Returning to Hong Kong, he joined 1957&CO, overseeing culinary innovation for multiple outlets.

Embarking on a new chapter, Giuliano co-founded Ask for Alonzo and Deadly Rabbits Concepts, leading culinary direction for several ventures. As Director of GD Culinary Consulting LTD, he developed innovative concepts and launched a chain of seven casual dining restaurants in Hong Kong within 54 months.

From Italy to London, Singapore, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, Chef Giuliano Dacasto's journey is a testament to his unwavering commitment to culinary excellence, passion, creativity, and love for the art of cooking.
