Chef Nikolaos Magganas

Ο Νικόλας ήταν τυπικότατος σε όλα. Ευχάριστος και επεξηγηματικός στο κομμάτι των πιάτων. Γευστικά μας καλυψε πλήρως. Θα τον προτείναμε ανεπιφύλακτα. Σίγουρα θα τον ξανακαλέσουμε να μας περιποιηθεί:)

The chef was very informative about the dishes he served us and you could tell he had a passion for food, in a good way. At the end of the meal, the kitchen was clean and set right. As he left our guest applauded him for the wonderful meal and service.

Outstanding! We chanced upon Take a Chef when we needed a chef while visiting Athens, Greece. I knew nothing about the service but decided to try it. Chef Nikolaos MAGGANAS was asked to prepare two selections for each of 4 courses for 12 people in our AirBNB. We were a group from 8 to 85 with vegetarians, folks with gluten allergies and kids with special requests. Chef Nikolaos responded with a menu that met all needs, arrived promptly to prepare all the fresh and high quality ingredients he brought, while chatting amiably with all the inquisitive guests. Generous quantities were beautifully presented, including a special pasta dish for the three children. Cleanup was immaculate. After an intense 8 hours in the kitchen, serving and cleaning, Chef Nikolaos left with a smile telling us how much he loves his job. That’s a real Chef! No one should hesitate to hire this chef or use the Take a Chef service. Thoroughly pleased!

Nicos was absolutely a lovely chef, he had the full restaurant experience, but also when we wanted to learn and experience, he was happy to show us and teach us a bit of his secrets. I highly recommend him, both for his professionalism and great tastes, but also of the warm but still discrete attitude he had. I was very much surprised.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Chef Nikos. He was extremely easy to work with prior to the event and friendly, efficient and easy to talk to when he entered our apartment. The food that he prepared was absolutely delicious and enjoyed by all- we have a few very picky eaters, and he catered to all of their needs perfectly. Needless to say, if we are ever in Athens again there is no doubt that we will be asking Chef Nikos to come and cook for us again! Thank you for making this such a great experience. Jodi Elkaim
