Solos- A Classically trained chef, sommelier & restaurateur

I'm an experienced chef who has a long history of working in the restaurant and hospitality business.

My parents owned the family-run chain of award-winning Greek restaurants, The Olive Tree, in Leeds where I picked up years of experience after graduating from Manchester University in a BA in Economics before completing an MA in Marketing from Bradford University.

The Olive Tree was featured in the Good Food Guide for 2O years as well as the AA Routier Guide and it was also Michelin recommended. The late AA Gill wrote that we were in the 'Top four Greek restaurants in the country'.

I have run and continue to manage an acclaimed Italian restaurant, Giorgio's, as well as a long established fish restaurant and a cookery class in Leeds.

I was taught by the chef, Wayne Brimicombe, who was senior chef at Gary Rhode's 'Rhodes on the Square' in Mayfair, London and Jean-Christophe Novelli's' 'Novelli's' also in Mayfair. He mastered pastry and desserts under Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons and I have recently started working privately with Chef Danny Collins - one of my true inspirations

(Executive Chef at Leeds Cookery School).

I bring a wealth of experience when I cook privately and have a diverse repertoire which encompasses Asian, Indian, Italian, French, Greek, Portuguese and British cuisine. I have direct access to wines from a shared vineyard in Italy which complement the bespoke menus I create. I bring passion, flair and excitement to each and every one of my clients culinary experiences.

We create memorable dining experiences which last a lifetime.
