I am a professional chef with a broad range of experience ranging from Michelin Star and AA rosette restaurants to exclusive events in private households and stately homes, predominantly as a senior chef but also with strong FOH exposure and knowledge. I have a passion and proven track record for providing an exceptional guest experience. Comfortable with dealing with clients who require subtle and discreet service and with specific dietary and nutritional requirements. I am skilled in many different areas of cuisine and have a personal interest in sports nutrition and healthy eating.

Simon was excellent. Very responsive ahead of time so it was easy to agree a menu aided by his helpful suggestions. In the night the food was exceptional. Would definitely recommend Simon to anyone.

Arrived on time, pleasant, caring, polite, explained to us how certain things were made, the food was amazing also extremely well presented.

Simply outstanding! Simon’s menu was absolutely beautiful and he made the event so straightforward and easy. Excellent communication in the run up and incredible on the night. My kitchen was spotless when he left too! I’ve never had a private chef before but I am now hooked! Simon, huge thanks for making my birthday dinner so special!

Our experience with Simon in the build up was excellent. Great menu from the start, excellent communication, very adaptable and collaborative on tweaks, changes and dietary differences. We even ordered a cake quite late in the day that turned out beautifully. The night it’s self was flawless, simon turned up on time and was very prepared. The meal delivered right on the specified time. The whole meal ran seamlessly, while our guests were left purring with each course. Would 100% recommend.

Chef Simon Davis catered for a birthday celebration meal. Beforehand we planned the menu together, and he was flexible, creative and responsive to my suggestions and preferences. On the day he was punctual, professional, and delivered five fantastic courses that all of us thought were a true “fine dining” experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and takeachef to others and will look for opportunities to book Simon again in future.
