I get great satisfaction from providing delicious and appealing meals or courses for a range of situations, with a highly professional attitude.
Originally achieving an HND in Hotel, Catering and Institutional Management, I was very much captivated by working in kitchens and producing tempting meals, so that's where my heart lies. I have been head chef at 2 AA Rosette Country House Hotel in the past, and when parenthood commitments eased, I set up my own business Taystful which encompasses various culinary aspects.
With a passion for chocolate and pastry, this has been a focus over the years, but I have also had the privilege of being a private chef for nobility in Scotland cooking with incredible local produce on country estates and in castles.
I have had great success at Scottish and International chef competitions, and have now had the opportunities to judge at a number of competitions too.
With additional experience in food evaluations for the International Taste Institute in Brussels and Dubai, I have worked alongside some of the best chefs in the industry.
I am a proud invited member of The Master Chefs of Great Britain, Disciples Escoffier and Chaine des Rotisseurs which further allows me to showcase and teach chocolate and patisserie skills in addition to the private courses I hold.
