Most of my friends and family would describe me as "Buddha in the kitchen" because sharing cooking experiences is how I show love to those around me.
I am a professional chef and food writer with years of experience running restaurant kitchens around Europe and the UK, now working as a Private Chef and Menu Development Consultant in Scotland.
My diverse family background and years of traveling has given me the understanding of different cultures cuisines, unique ways of building flavor profiles, cooking techniques and indigenous ingredients of which to create my menus with. Seasonal, local and organic produce is at the core of what drives my sustainable approach to being a chef and supporting my local community.
I grew up in Cape Town, South Africa with Portuguese and Mozambican roots. My style and approach to eating and creating experiences for my clients are always unique and something special. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and stories of my experience while cooking, making my private dining evenings more personal, comfortable and interactive.
