My name is Daniele, and I am a professional chef originally from Italy. I have been actively engaged in the hospitality industry since 2008, during which I have held a variety of roles across different sectors of the business.

Career Beginnings

I began my culinary journey in 2007 as a kitchen porter in London, where I developed a passion for the fast-paced environment of the kitchen, the adrenaline of busy service, and the rewarding sense of accomplishment at the end of each shift. In 2008, I returned to Italy to pursue formal culinary education, focusing on traditional recipes. I was able to enroll in culinary school once I had saved enough funds. During this period, I continued to work in the industry as a barista and barman while seeking opportunities as a chef.

Professional Development

In 2010, I secured a position as a commis chef at "Crab," one of the premier fish restaurants in Rome, located directly across from the Colosseum. I dedicated over a year to this establishment, honing my skills in seafood preparation. Subsequently, I spent the following two years at "Il Gladiatore," a traditional Roman restaurant, where I focused on mastering the art of preparing Carbonara, a dish I hold in high regard.

Return to London

In 2013, I returned to London, where I began advancing my career toward the role of sous chef. I have had the privilege of working in esteemed establishments such as "Granger and Co," "Blacklock," "Enoteca Rabezzana," and "Polpo."
