Private Chef In BarcelonaI have a happy disposition, I am a workaholic and love being in the food game!
I fell in love with cooking and baking at a very young age. At nine years old, I was preparing food for myself and by seventeen years of age I was cooking five course meals for my big Portuguese family. At twenty years old, I began baking cakes for birthdays and began supplying a local restaurant with 100 portions of chocolate mousse every Friday.
I discovered the challenging but adventurous life of yachting and became a stewardess/cook. I did so well in the cooking role that the captain urged me to become a sole chef.
After some training in San Remo, Italy, I went on to manage my own kitchen cooking for up to 14 guests on charters all on my own. After a year, I went to France and did a month long intensive course in Pastry and French Cuisine. Following this, I moved onto a bigger boat and have excelled. I have cooked for very high profile people including royalty. I provisioned, managed food orders, developed menu's and recipes, baked breads, cakes, pastries, desserts and, cooked to a fine dining level.
