Born and raised in Belgium, I started working in kitchens at the age of 14 and quickly followed up by starting a classic 3 years professionnal formation in a Hospitality School in Belgium. I qualified at 19 and since then never looked back, I now have over 20 years of experience under my belt working in the kitchens of Restaurants, Hotels and Catering companies, in Belgium for about 6 years, in Australia for nearly 12 years and for the last 5 years here in Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands where I run a small Catering and Private Chefs services company.

Japan has taken a huge part of my life, thanks to my wife Saki who introduced the richeness of her nation's culture to me, and through that has influenced my cooking style.

Throughout my career, I have worked in fine dining and Michelin star restaurants, large scale high-end catering companies, high turnover quality Bars and Restaurant and am currentlu running my second own business.
