Carefully considerate about the ingredients I use to build my dishes, I am always sure that the food I create is at minimum excellent for my clients!
Cooking has been a lifelong passion for me, a creative outlet that allows me to connect with people on a deeply personal level. My culinary journey began at the age of 7, helping my mother in the kitchen, and evolved into a professional career after I pursued culinary studies at the University of The Bahamas. Through hands-on experience at Syrah Cellar Café, I advanced from a prep cook to a line cook, eventually becoming the lead cook. These years taught me the importance of discipline, precision, and consistency, which laid the foundation for my future endeavors in the culinary world.
After refining my skills at Syrah Cellar Café, I transitioned to Showman e Bistro, where I worked for six years, studying under a respected private chef and taking on significant leadership roles. I helped open two successful restaurants and led numerous high-end private events, catering to elite Bahamian clients and international celebrities. Alongside my culinary growth, I discovered a passion for teaching, mentoring young cooks and chefs. Today, at age 27 as the owner of Signature Plates, I continue to bring personalized, creative dining experiences to life. Looking ahead, I remain committed to excellence and excited about the future of my culinary journey.
