Food is biology....I create and cook what is available, affordable. I create a storm in 'teacup' .

I am a professional chef who has learnt to cook from childhood in Malawi. My grandma and mother and everyone else cookes. Because of my diverse background and genes of Indian/ African.....recipes are created on the spot. In my village, a lot of vegetables are seasonal and organic. We also have to balance it with protein and other vitamins on a health point of view. Sowe rear our chickens called road runners and also use the eggs. We have tropical mount tain fruits which are also seasonal such as wild pinneaples, amarula fruit etc and so we create recipes. I am well travelled and can reconstruct my recipes to suit the type of people and their universal taste. I am a conversationalist and do enjoy good conversation about the world in general. My dream is to cook for a celebraty or famous people in the big wide world.

I learned to cook at...

I learnt to cook from childhood with mymother who was a great cook of yao and indian tribe in Malawi. She taught me how to cook from scratch.

A cooking secret...

At least one fresh ingredient......especially herbs like fresh mango,coriander, basil, thyme to make a signature chutney or dip.
