Hi, I’m Gabi—a self-taught baker, sourdough lover, and passionate home cook originally from Brazil, now based in Puerto Rico.

My food journey started long before I ever turned on a real oven. As a child, I would spend hours playing with flour and water my grandma saved just for me. That simple, joyful ritual sparked a lifelong love for cooking that only deepened over time.

Though I studied engineering back in Brazil, my heart always pulled me toward the kitchen. When I moved to the U.S. in 2017, I taught myself how to bake and eventually worked in a Brazilian restaurant—where I not only cooked but reshaped systems and menus. After having my son, I leaned even further into baking, sharing my creations with friends and eventually launching a home bakery from our kitchen in Albany, NY.

Now life has brought me to Puerto Rico, and with it, a new chapter. I’m building a vision for a cozy, vibrant space rooted in healthy baking, wild-fermented sourdough, and real, nourishing ingredients—a place where bread is made slowly, with purpose, and where community can grow around the table.
