Chef Flo Mercier

Chef Flo’s passion for cooking was born under the influence of both her French-Catalan and German grandmothers. Starting to cook at an early age, she intuitively discovered how to reproduce her favorite dishes and recreate them from scratch. The family kitchen became her territory.

At the age of 19, she moved to London to improve her English and started preparing dinner parties for friends and relatives, soon to realize she had built up a fan base of faithful and regular clients. During this time, with the benefit of London’s varied world cuisines, she expanded her culinary knowledge, dining not only in some of London's best restaurants but also at the homes of friends from diverse cultures, experiencing their mother’s home cooking.

She, then, decided to take her passion more seriously and turned professional having trained in various kitchens whilst traveling around the globe: London, Paris, Berlin, St Moritz, Rome, Barcelona, Ibiza, Singapore, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bali, Kuala Lumpur, Sidney, Nouméa, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, Cairo, Marrakesh, the West Indies… to name a few.

After 16 years of "globe trotting", she settled in the South of France and whilst raising her son, started her own business creating fine gourmet products, teaching cooking classes one to one and in professional schools, catering for both private events, music and film festivals and running a beach club each summer.

Flo has been a private chef in both villas and on yachts in St Barth for the last five years. She takes real satisfaction from contributing to the excellence of her client's vacation. Just indulge!
