Chef Mac and his crew were incredible! The entire experience was wonderful and he didn’t disappoint at all. Cooking for 14 people for three nights is no easy task and he was spot on with everything! Would total recommend without hesitation!

Chef Mac was amazing! We utilized his services two nights and both nights the food and experience were exceptional. We enjoyed not only the food but the conversation with Mac! I would 2000% hire him again!

This was such a treat to get several 5 course meals during our stay in St. Thomas. The food was delicious, presented beautifully and served professionally. Chef was delightful to talk with and accommodating to our picky eaters. We loved trying new dishes and enjoying such a wonderful variety. Thank you for such a treat!

Chef Mac was truly incredible. I hired him for a bachelor party of 13 guys and he was responsive, punctual, professional, friendly and blew us away with his menu. We needed breakfast dropped off one morning before an excursion and he made it happen. We asked for some last minute changes and he rolled with it. One of the guys is a chef in NYC and believes chef Mac’s grilled lamb is the best he’s ever had. If you are looking for a private chef in the USVI, I can’t imagine anyone being better than chef Mac. You will NOT regret it!

Great meal! Awesome service would definitely book again. Beef and salmon were cooked perfectly and more than enough for a second meal!

Our chef was good but the company forgot to give him our order for our sons birthday cake so he did not have a cake which was disappointing. It was ordered and paid for already so not very professional on Take A Chefs part.

We hired Chef Allister for both a Brunch & Dinner for our Family of 15's visit to St John last week. He and his assistant were incredible. Chef McAlister was fantastic! His food was made from the heart and we could not have been more pleased. We were provided delicious choices to select from and he was very accommodating when we had recommendations as well. We were a group of six people that were not very easy to please and he knocked it out of the park! Alister was patient, punctual, considerate, and focused on providing a wonderful experience and he succeeded! We could not have been happier with the food choices and preparation. Every meal from beginning to end was delicious. I am very much looking forward to working with him again upon my return to the Virgin Islands. Thank you Alister!

Alister was amazing. This was our first experience with a person chef but he made us feel very relaxed and comfortable. Plus the most important part - the food was delicious. Every course was better than the last. We had the Mediterranean option and couldn't have been more pleased. He knows his stuff! I would definitely recommend him and our only regret was that we didn't get to have him back on multiple nights to try his other dishes.
