The love of food has been an integral part of my life. In my childhood I spent a lot of time in the kitchen helping my grandmother, mother and aunties and was always encouraged to try different ingredients, to be opened to unusual foods, cultures and other ways of eating. At home and when travelling which we did a lot.
I am Spanish and have lived in many different places but probably my cooking could be described as a mix of Mediterranean, Latin America and Middle East.
I have worked in many 3, 2 and 1 Michelin star restaurants and also high end Hotels.
I love sharing my knowledge and passion for food. That sharing permeates every aspect of my cooking. There is very few things that give me more pleasure than making people happy with my cooking.
Due to my working background and long working career I have a lot of experience in all aspects of the hospitality industry. Both front and back of the house. I have a perfect understanding of the needs a food based business have to be a success. And find it very easy to spot hidden problems and to find simple, straight forward and efficient solutions.
I am a firm believer on the impact human footprint has on our environment and therefore a strong advocate for the implementation of different patterns and behaviours specially those related to our ways of producing, sourcing, cooking and consuming food.
I am a family man with two amazing daughters who love the outdoors
Bilingual in both English and Spanish, I can also speak some French, Italian and Portuguese.
