Amazing food. Chef was so engaging with kids helping to educating us about Costa Rican meals. It was so great from food to experience. Worth every dollar.

It’s very hard to know if the food a chef will prepare will be up to the hype (pictures and detailed menus can paint a picture, but the taste is what matters in the end). Reviews are all you can rely on. And I want everyone to know that Chef Gamboa is an incredible chef who delivers delicious and beautiful meals every single time. Everything was colorful, fresh, and unique. This gave us a new experience every time. As a person she is beautiful inside and out. I wish we could have enjoyed more time with each other. I will never hesitate to reach out to her the next time I am in Costa Rica. Favorite: -fresh fruit parfaits (very light and just sweet enough, and they last in the fridge so it’s a great treat to have in bulk to enjoy over and over again) -Venezuelan chicken and avocado arepas (I will think about this dish for the rest of my life. It’s so flavorful and refreshing, and although it feels light, which is great for warm Costa Rican weather, it is still very filling) -Ceviche (one of her signature dishes and for a good reason, fresh and zesty) -spicy pistachio crusted fish (I had never heard of this combination, but it is something I will never forget. It was a big hit with the group, along with everything else tbh.)
