I am a self made cook specializing in Jamaican food. I started cooking at 5 years old in the kitchen in Jamaica with my grandmother and have not stopped since then! I reside in Ontario, Canada now and enjoy introducing Jamaican fare to all the different cultures that can be found here. I ran my own restaurant from 2012 to 2020 (Patois Jamaican Restaurant in Pickering) and was featured on CTV News when a food critic stumbled across my restaurant and did a feature story. My restaurant was also featured in local newspapers as well. I have a creative flare to the way I do things and I enjoy blending herbs and spices to create my flavours from scratch.
