I have worked in restaurants for 14 years, starting in the front of the house, though quickly discovering through working on organic farms in Australia and connecting with the process of growing food, that my passion lay in the kitchen. I have since worked my way through restaurants around the world. My connection to plants and nature has continued to guide my culinary journey, as I have had the privilege of being the head chef at multiple restaurants with their own kitchen gardens and farms. (Solscape Resort in New Zealand and Nourish in Victoria, BC) Throughout my years of cooking, the meals that have brought me the most joy and fulfillment are those created for special events, such as weddings and intimate, catered dinners. I am beyond excited to continue my career, as a private chef, enabling me to curate your dream meals while connecting with you and your guests. I specialize in vegetarian and vegan cooking, though I am happy to incorporate animal proteins if desired. I have a huge passion for cooking healthy meals while incorporating fermentation, pickling and herbal medicines in my cuisine (utilizing my Herbalist Certificate from Pacific Rim College).
