I’m Kait, the owner and chef of Rōm.

My journey into this career was sparked by my perpetual fascination with the abundance of earth’s natural bearing fruit and the kaleidoscope of cuisines that paint our global culinary landscape. This curiosity evolved into a passion, inspiring me to explore the art between food and culture and leading me to spend years immersed in its study. Through obtaining a culinary degree, securing a red seal certificate, and accumulating a wealth of industry experience, I developed a deep seated appreciation for the intricate connections woven throughout the tapestry of culinary artistry. With Rōm, I aspire to use this endeavour as a canvas to embody the role of a culinary ambassador and to celebrate the boundless diversity our world has to offer.
