Hugh Flint is a private chef and kitchen coach in Whistler, BC. Through his business Living Kitchen BC, he carefully selects the freshest local ingredients, treats them with the utmost care and through judicious execution serves mouthwatering and nourishing dishes sure to inspire all gathered as his table.

Growing up in a family surrounded by fresh food and home cooking, he learnt how to cook from a very early age. In 2008, he went to culinary school at the acclaimed Regency TAFE in South Australia, trained at the award-winning luxury hotel Intercontinental Adelaide, before coming a trade certified chef in 2011. He's spent the past 13 years refining his craft in fine-dining restaurants around the world from Templo in Hobart, Tasmania to Chez Panisse in Berkeley, California.

He moved to Whistler, Canada in 2018, seeking an adventurous life in the mountains of British Columbia. He spent the following 4 and a half years working as Sous Chef at the definitive fine-dining restaurant Quattro, serving authentic Italian cuisine to travelers and hungry skiers alike.

In 2023 he started his own business Living Kitchen BC, offering his services as a private chef and cooking coach, specializing in food that truly nourishes. His offerings are very flexible and personalized to cater for any preferences or dietary requirements that may include plant-based, vegetarian, certified organic, gluten free, paleo or ketogenic. He takes relish in providing a customized experience and tailoring it to your unique needs. He looks forward to sharing his passion for beautiful food and love of hospitality with you soon.
