I love creating dishes that show case the beauty of the product that our farmers and producers grow, and showcase a true taste of place and terroir.
Professionally trained chef/restauranteur with 25+ years of experience specializing in relationships with local farmers, producers and high end suppliers. Born in Calgary, AB raised in Oxford County, Ontario where I learned about food from the ground up working on various family farms throughout my childhood and early adult life. Moved to Toronto, Ontario in 1998 to attend college and gain the needed skills to follow my career in hospitality, working my ways through various roles and restaurants until 2005 where I opened my first restaurant in my childhood home with my Mother in Woodstock, Ontario. In 2015 my Mother retired and my wife took over the role as husband and wife team, for the last 10 years we have been pushing to promote the great things that are available in Oxford County, Ontario and Canada with the great team of professional that are part of our team at sixthirtynine restaurant.
