My name is Eli (or Elifelet)

I'm 38 years old with over 10 years of experience as a chef for private events, and 5 years as a personal chef to a family in Vancouver (currently still catering for them).

I'm a self-taught chef so most of the recipes are mine but also can cook Classic Home Cooking.

When I started my career in the kitchen, I chose not to follow the ordinary path of learning in a culinary school or working under a chef in a restaurant because I wanted to create my flavours and not play by the "rules" of the culinary world.

Today, I have countless, unique recipes I can proudly call my own while using modern cooking techniques to elevate every single ingredient.

Cooking runs in my family and having parents from different cultures (Morocco & Cambodia) added a lot to the diverse flavors which I bring in my cooking style.

Over the years I planned and catered many pop-up dinners as well as private events, and for the last 5 years, I have been cooking exclusively for a lady in Vancouver and also for her family when we travel to their secondary residence in California.

My cooking is adapted to their dietary restrictions and the type of events they are hosting.

As a personal chef, I get to express my creativity in the kitchen while pursuing a consistently high level of cooking and this is what makes me start every day with a smile.
