Sharing my culture through food, connection and stories is at my very core as a Chef.
I was born in Mexico City and raised for much of my life in Puerto Vallarta, always between the mountains and the sea.
I live half of the year in Puerto Vallarta and the other half on Salt Spring Island, BC.
Here, I get to connect with my culture and have the pleasure to cook with the most incredible ingredients that inspire me every day.
It is such a pleasure to use ethically sourced, and locally grown food. I am rigorous about sourcing the very best and deeply passionate about knowing and honouring where our food comes from. I am forever grateful to the many hands that connect us to this food.
I own a beautiful tortillería on Salt Spring Island, it’s called Dos Amores, we have the best tortillas made by hand, take out food and we are mostly opened in the summer time so if you ever are on the West Coast come visit me!
