Owner/Operator of Toronto’s only Cuban food truck “Tropical South”, created in 2020. Bringing a new southern Caribbean/Miami kitchen menu. Experienced Line Cook/Chef with over 40 years in entertainment culinary world as a TV Producer/Director, including "MasterChef Latino". Worked with celebrity chefs like Ingrid Hoffman, Guy Fieri, Giada de Laurentis, Emeril Lagasse. Currently focusing on authentic Cuban culinary fusion. As a Cook/Chef, I have experience working in Miami as a line cook at the Red Koi Restaurant and in Toronto, Head chef for Julie’s Cuban Café. I was also a TV host for show “Chuchi’s Terrace”, in which I travelled the Americas showcasing various cultures and its culinary world and I created original recipes based on the local customs and ingredients.
