Chef Amy Lloyd
Personal Chef In TorontoGet to know me better
From my time spent in both high-end restaurants and culinary school, being able to provide a personal, intimate culinary experience is my passion.
My name is Amy Lloyd, I am a graduate of McGill University and Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute. I graduated from McGill in 2022 and decided to take a year off to work in the hospitality industry, saving up to go to culinary school in Paris with my childhood best friend — a dream of both of ours since high school.
I realized, from my time spent in both high-end restaurants as front of house and culinary school, that food was my passion. However, unlike a restaurant environment, I wanted to be able to provide a more personal, intimate culinary experience. I want to work with clients to bring their culinary vision to life, taking into consideration their likes/dislikes, dietary restrictions, and even foods they want to try but never have.
Becoming a personal chef was an idea that stemmed from countless dinner parties featuring me cooking for my friends, and preparing their favourite dishes and cuisines. Everyone should be able to have the dinner party of their dreams without the fuss of actually cooking, serving, and cleaning.
