Awesome experience. Highly recommend. Felt like being at a top tier restaurant all at home, and watching the Chef prepare and cook everything infront of us was a nice addition.

Jesse was wonderful. His meal was so delicious and he really took care of us so we could make the most of our evening.

This experience exceeded our expectations! The Take a Chef team were attentive to our food allergies and aversions and Chef Jesse was personable, efficient, and created incredible dishes. We found out the oven didn’t work at our airbnb that afternoon and Chef Jesse pivoted to bring us an amazing meal. Every detail of every dish was perfectly executed and balanced. Cleaned up, set up a beautiful dinner table, and left the kitchen spotless! This was an incredibly wonderful experience. Would definitely hire them for another event in the future! thanks to the Take a Chef Team and especially to Chef Jesse!

This is our second time having chef Jesse come out and make us a fabulous dinner. He is amazing and a wonderful chef. He makes the experience great from start to finish. Highly recommend chef Jesse! Jesse arrived exactly when he said he would at 4:30 and immediately got to work. He created the most beautiful charcuterie board. He waited on us, which I didn’t expect. Next we had a really delicious salad with shrimp and sherry vinaigrette. Incredible. After that he prepared steak perfectly with scalloped potatoes, cauliflower and brussel sprouts. I’ll dream about those potatoes forever. And he finished with a delicate and light chocolate cake with a candle for the birthday girl. Then he cleaned up! We didn’t have to do a thing. He told us about his culinary journey which we really enjoyed. If we lived in Palm Springs, I’d hire Jesse regularly for dinners in. Thank you, Chef Jesse, for a magical experience. This experience was absolutely amazing. My family had an amazing time and the food was delicious! Chef Jesse and Dean were such an incredible duo, they made sure we had everything we needed and wanted. They were more that wonderful at their craft. 1000/10 would recommend if you are ever in the Joshua Tree area with family or friends!

This was a really fun special experience and I would recommend for special occasions. Everything was done quickly and cleanly as well as explained step by step. The chef also did really well cleaning up and there was basically little to no work on our end!

Chef Kim was great. We opted for the Surf & Turf menu, and the food could not have been better. My husband and I consider ourselves to be good cooks as well, but there is nothing like a professional chef to make you feel humble. He effortlessly flew around our AirBnB and made a truly memorable 4 course meal for us, tailored to our needs and in just about 2 hours. It was a memorable one-of-a kind anniversary gift and we loved it. Private Feedback: We loved Chef Kim, but it wasn’t clear to us just who was coming - we thought we had Chef Jesse, but found out he was on vacation. Better communication about who exactly was going to be our chef would have been appreciated.
