Passionate Chef who believes in giving customers an excellent culinary experience through exquisite flavours.
I am a professional chef with over 20 years of culinary experience in over more than five countries. My passion for cooking has been made me travel to places and different countries and exposed me to the immense international experience in various cuisines such as Italian, French, Arabic, and Indian.
Based in Canberra, I am currently heading the culinary team at Hyatt Hotel Canberra as Executive Chef. My expertise ranges from fine dining to large volume in banqueting. My past work experience has strengthened me but limited to European cuisine. I have worked in a French kitchen for over 10 years as a Head Chef in one of the finest UK Michelin star chef Raymond Blanc's brasseries. To further my skills and knowledge, I have also completed a Masters diploma in Italian Culinary from ICIF, Italy.
I have designed and crafted special menus for Hyatt Canberra's signature events such as Melbourne Cup, Truffle Dinner etc. I have also catered to several high profile guests, and heads of state. Every year, I plan and redesign menus for Canberra's favourite and much loved high tea buffet and its restaurant.
