I’m Sav Perera, a private chef and caterer passionate about creating bold, vibrant dining experiences inspired by my Sri Lankan heritage. As a MasterChef Australia 2024 finalist, I bring a deep love for food and storytelling to every dish I create, blending traditional Sri Lankan flavors with modern techniques to craft meals that are both nostalgic and innovative.
Based in Adelaide, I offer private dining, catering, and immersive pop-up events, designing bespoke menus that highlight fresh, seasonal produce while staying true to the rich culinary traditions of Sri Lanka. Whether it’s an intimate dinner, a special celebration, or a multi-course feast, I focus on making every meal an unforgettable experience.
With a background in neuroscience and psychology, I approach cooking with both technical precision and a deep appreciation for its cultural significance. My mission is to share the beauty and complexity of Sri Lankan cuisine with a wider audience, making its bold, comforting flavors more accessible and celebrated.
