Pol García is beeen for 5 years Executive chef at El Patio Shanghai - Originally from the Basque Country, he's one of the few chefs who's decided to leave his rich, native land to complete his training and acquire experience in international cuisine.
His mentors include the famous Martín Berasategui (Lasarte) 12 Michelin stars, Koldo Royo (Palma de Mallorca) 1Michelin Stars, Marco Piere White (Keyside,London) 2 Michelin stars, and Uve Opocensky (Toast, London)1 Michelin stars.
His travels have taken him to the kitchens of London (including 'Soho House' and 'The Vine'), Barcelona (including 'El Principal and 'Lupino') Le Mamouche (Morroco) and Tapas Cafe (Bangkok)
He is been as executive chef & partner in Foodlab Gastronomia company designing events & menus for diferents restaurants & hotel in different countries. With Foodlab he is being improving his skills working towards with some of the best alcohol brands in the world doing food pairing menus and mixing his way of seeing the cuisine to every product, with an incredible result.
