I was born and grew up in Leipzig and studied to become a chef at the West Inn Hotel (former Hotel Intercontinental). Left Germany thereafter at a very jung age and gained extensive experience in a number of Europe’s top restaurants. Listed among these are: Hotel Schloss Fuschl – Salzburg Austria (Classic French Cuisine), Anton Mosimanns’ Belfry – London (Nouvelle Cuisine) and Fischerzunft – Schaffhausen Switzerland – 1 Michelin Star (Euro-Asian Cuisine) and a stage at Gordon Ramsay’s Restaurant in London- 3 Michelin Star. My South African career started in 2000 at the Grande Roche Hotel in Paarl, followed by in Cape Town based prestige Aubergine Restaurant, The Table Bay Hotel, elite Ellerman House as well as Cellars-Hohenort Hotel.
I startet my own busness Top Nosh and work as Private chef till 2022 in Cape Town. I have been a member of the Culinary Team South Africa from 2009 to 2014 and won a couple of medals over these years.
Now back in Leipzig and having had a 2 year experience as headchef at the Atlanta Hotel International, I am restarting my private chef carrier to share my knowledge and passion for food to everyone, cooking delicious meals and giving private cooking classes in English or German
