Jodie Austin is a passionate and talented private chef with extensive experience in creating unforgettable dining experiences. Born on October 21, 1980, British and Irish , Jodie is currently based in Palma de Mallorca.

With a love for culinary arts and a strong desire to explore different cuisines, Jodie has honed her skills through various qualifications and courses. She completed the Ashburton Advanced Cookery Course, Demuths Vegan Cookery Course, Ashburton 2-Day Sushi Course, Thai Cooking Course in Chang Mai, The School of Artisan Nottingham Patisserie Course, 5-Day Intensive School of Wok Private Course, 5-Day Ma Baker Bread Course, WSET 2 Wine Course, Level 2 Health and Hygiene, and Eng1 Medical.

Jodie's objective is to bring her passion for travel and diverse culinary experiences to the plate, utilizing locally sourced seasonal produce in Mallorca. With over 15 years of experience cooking for a wide range of clients, Jodie is adept at accommodating various cuisines and dietary requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction.

In terms of recent employment, Jodie has been working as a privat Chef in villas and on yachts in Mallorca and New Zealand since October 2022. Previously, Jodie worked as a chef on the new build of a 140ft modern classic sailing boat, Halekai, in Pendennis Shipyard, Cornwall, from July 2019 to July 2021. The boat was launched in October 2020 and sailed to the Mediterranean and the Pacific, catering to up to 8 guests and 5 crew members. Throughout her 10-year tenure with an American family on SY Kealoha and Halekai, Jodie often cooked in their residences in California and Hawaii.

From April 2011 to July 2019, Jodie worked as a sole stewardess/chef on the 90ft modern classic sailing boat, Kealoha, traveling around the world. In this role, she not only provided high-end service and dining experiences for up to 8 guests and 3 crew members but also contributed to the sailing and overall functioning of the vessel, including provisioning in remote locations.

Prior to that, from December 2010 to May 2018, Jodie gained valuable experience as a stewardess and crew chef on 50m motor yachts based in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, further solidifying her skills in the superyacht industry.

With a passion for culinary excellence and a wealth of experience in both land-based and yacht environments, Jodie Austin continues to create memorable dining experiences for her clients, always bringing her global influences to the table.
